Web Hosting Engineer I (m/f)
Fresh Graduates
Help provision, manage, and maintain containerized web hosting environments for our clients. You'll work with DNS, email systems, SSL certificates, and server-side troubleshooting across dedicated per-customer containers, growing your skills alongside experienced engineers.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Basic understanding of DNS concepts and common record types (A, CNAME, MX, TXT)
- Basic understanding of email systems and deliverability (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
- Basic understanding of SSL/TLS certificates and how HTTPS works
- Familiarity with web server basics (Apache or Nginx)
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Linux command-line familiarity
Nice to Have
- Experience with containerized hosting environments (Cloudron or similar)
- Knowledge of DNSSEC and subdomain delegation
- Email deliverability troubleshooting experience (rDNS, blacklist management)
- SSL/TLS automation experience (Let's Encrypt, CSR generation, manual CA imports)
- Web server log analysis and shell scripting skills
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Ghost CMS, or similar) for troubleshooting; we do not manage CMS content for clients
- Experience with AI-assisted troubleshooting tools
