Senior Linux Systems Engineer (m/f)

Engineering Valencia, Negros Oriental, Philippines Full-time, On-site (50-100% travel)

Design, build, and maintain the Linux-based infrastructure that powers our internal platforms and client solutions. You'll work with virtualization, container orchestration, and monitoring systems in environments that are anything but cookie-cutter.

Requirements

Self-driven problem solver with a passion for building reliable systems
Minimum 3 years hands-on Linux systems engineering experience
Strong experience with virtualization (Proxmox VE preferred)
Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration
Proficiency with monitoring platforms (Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar)
Experience building and maintaining custom technology stacks
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Python scripting and automation skills
Comfortable working with non-standard, bespoke infrastructure
Valid Philippine driver's license (required)

Nice to Have

Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code) and practical awareness of AI/ML concepts
Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls)
Knowledge of immutable OS platforms (e.g., NixOS, Fedora Bluefin)
