Registered Master Electrician (RME) (m/f)
We build and commission these systems with our own crews. What we take on casually, when the workload calls for it, is extra licensed capacity: a Registered Master Electrician working alongside our team rather than in place of it. This is not general industrial or residential contracting. Our scope is telecom grounding and backup power inside the data rooms we commission: distribution panels, conduit, protection and changeover gear, telco-grade inverters, rectifiers, and LFP battery banks.
Depending on the build, you'll work from and correct electrical plans, run load calculations and site surveys, make sure installations meet code, and work alongside our field teams on site. We provide the specs and hands-on training for our backup power systems beforehand, so you do not need to arrive already knowing our kit. Work comes build by build, with scope, duration, and rates agreed up front, and we bring the same people back wherever the fit is right.
Requirements
- Active PRC license as Registered Master Electrician
- Minimum 3 years professional experience, ideally in telecom or data room environments
- Telecom grounding and earthing: ground bars, bonding, earth pits, and resistance testing with the measured ohm values documented
- Data room power distribution: panels, breaker sizing and coordination, and dual-feed (A/B) arrangements
- Protection and changeover gear: over/under voltage and current protection (OCVP), surge protection, and manual transfer switches (MTS)
- Backup power: inverters, rectifiers, and battery banks, from installation through commissioning and changeover testing
- Conduit and containment: rubberized corrugated flexible conduit and EMT, junction boxes, connectors, terminations, supports, and clean routing
- Electrical plans: read them, redline them, and correct them, with load calculations to support the work
- Site surveys, Philippine Electrical Code compliance, and as-builts, panel schedules, and labeling the next technician can follow
- Pride in clean, organized work, fluent English, a valid Philippine driver's license, and comfortable either working within our crews or leading a small one
Nice to Have
- REE license alongside the RME, which brings plan preparation and sealing into scope
- Grounding standards: Motorola R56 and the Panduit guidelines, with UL 467, CSA C22.2, IEEE Std 837, or NEBS Level 3 a real bonus
- Bonding methods across the range, and the judgment for when each applies
- Megger and insulation resistance testing, even at a working-knowledge level
- CAD for drafting plans and as-builts
- Data center, telecom equipment room, tower, and outside plant experience
- Solar and hybrid inverter systems
